Usage:

Pre-preparation:

Clean and sand the surface of the bodywork to remove dirt, rust and old paint layers to ensure that the new paint adheres firmly.
Choose the right spray gun and compressed air equipment to ensure that the spray gun atomises and delivers the right amount of paint.

Mix the pearl paint:

According to the formula provided by the manufacturer, accurately measure the pearl pigment, colour lacquer and thinner, and mix well so that the pigment is evenly distributed in the lacquer.
The thinning consistency of pearl paint should be moderate, too thick will affect the spraying effect.
Spraying steps:

Primer layer: Spray a layer of primer first, make sure the primer layer is smooth and completely dry.
Pearl layer: After the primer layer is completely dry, start spraying the pearl layer. The pearl layer should be broken up and thinned down very well. Use a mixing ruler to check the distribution of the pearl particles to ensure that the pearls are evenly distributed. Maintain proper air pressure and paint output when spraying, keep the gun about 35cm away from the surface of the car body, walk the gun quickly and take two passes back and forth4.
Clearcoat layer: The final clearcoat layer is sprayed to increase the gloss and protect the paintwork. You can add a small amount of pearl particles in the varnish to enhance the effect, but need to control the amount.
Environmental conditions:

Spraying should be carried out in a dust-free, well-ventilated environment with suitable temperature and humidity to prevent dust particles from mixing into the paint layer or poor drying of the layer due to high humidity.
Inspection and Trimming:

Allow sufficient drying time after each layer of spraying to avoid spraying the next layer of paint before it dries.
After completing the spraying, check whether there are any defects in the paint layer, such as particles, flow hanging, etc., and promptly carry out sanding and polishing treatment, so as to make the paint surface achieve a smooth and bright effect.

Spraying viscosity: The viscosity should be controlled at 15~17S(T-4)/20℃ when spraying.
Number of spraying passes: usually 2~3 passes of spraying are required, with each pass spaced about 15~25um.
